stage fright

Hello!

I'm kinda happy today. It's because I had to speak a scripture in today's assembly, and it went good(surprisingly). I mean, I didn't stammer or anything. ;P
I spoke something from the Bible. It said-

" For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."

It's not that I'm not used to speaking in front of people, but earlier it was in front of the people I knew, most of them atleast. I knew everyone in my school. The last time I spoke in front of people on a microphone was in November 2012. And, since it had been a long time, I was very very nervous!
But luckily, all went fine.

The rest of the day was boring. All classes were monotonous, nothing worth noticing happened. Except that the children who didn't bring books in English class, had to sit on the floor. Before you think about it, I did bring the book. (;

That is all..

Depressing Day..

Hello!

Yesterday in school the weather was really pleasent in the 6th period, which was our games period. But by the second half of the 7th period, which was unfortunately history, (because despite being my favourite subject, history class is very monotonous, and it takes quite a lot of efforts to keep my eyes open) the sky was overcast by clouds.

Anyways, by 8th period, the weather was stormy. The sky was overcast by dark clouds, and the surroundings seemed to be very "depressing". As the class was an arrangement, I was free. I wrote a poem, it's still incomplete but I decided to share it. Here it is-

Clouds of grief,
Overshadow the light.
Darkness and dullness
Are the only things in sight.

Dread is in the air,
Tear stains on cheeks.
Memories come flooding back,
Minutes seem like weeks.

I know it is a kind of "depressive" poem, but it's because the weather was gloomy, and my mood got swayed by it, so my mood became gloomy too.

Back to studies!

Hello!

Today I went to school after a long time. We had holidays from 26th March to 14th April, and surprisingly enough I was looking forward to going to school. (;
Today, we had classes of every subject except Geography. We has two arrangements,  one of which was spent in library, the other was wasted in sitting outside. :D

Anyways, it was good to be back at school. I liked only 1 class, that shockingly is "Economics", I'm even liking the numericals! (For a change :P)

Hey everyone..

First of all, thanks to anyone who ever read anyone of my blogs, I am really glad you took time to read my musings. (:
I have decided that I am going to discontinue blogging. I myself don't know if it's a permanent decision or a temporary one. But, I am sure that I am not going to write anything here anytime soon. Thanks again for reading.

11th's result

Hey..

so, today was my result, and I'm finally in 12th grade! Yay!
But, the sad part is that I could secure only 69%.. I know that I could've done better. I did not study enough, I guess I was too busy making friends in my new school. But, I will study whole heartedly this session, because 12th grade is the base for our future, and if the base is spoilt, how can one see a promising developement? I hope, that my will doesn't fade away with time, but strengthens... good luck to all! Wish me luck.. (:

Exams Approaching!

I haven't written on this blog for so long!

So, school is going pretty well except the fact that exams are approaching! :( I'm so freaked out, specially about Economics, specifically statistics,  and geography. They are SO tough! I dont know how anyone can say that humanities stream is easy! Its not a child's play at all.

I know that I've selected the stream myself, but that doesn't make it any easier. I'm really scared, our exams begin on 10th February, and im not at all prepared! How are we supposed to memorize whole books?!

Well, wish me luck..

Missing classes!:D

I was sick yesterday, with cough, cold and fever. I still am!:(
I went to school yesterday to give English's unit test, it's a test but the marks are added in annual report, so I had no choice but to go..

First of all there was a chaos in the room, where we had to give exam. Due to the insufficiency of chairs, our reading time was wasted in arranging chairs.
Then we attended classes.

We(Rashi and me), were tired of studying, so we decided to bunk classes!:) we missed the last three classes- Geography, Painting and English.

We talked and talked.. We officially became best friends 2-3 days ago, so how were we supposed to miss the chance of knowing about each other?(;
And, she had to leave for Patna the same day, and we could meet the next week. So being BFF's we wanted to know and tell literally 'EVERYTHING'!!!:D
