Disobedience?

Today was our Games period, for me that means 30 minutes to talk to my friends..
As we lined up on the grass near the basketball court , Sanjay Sir told us to number up i.e speaking the number after the one said by the one beside us.
Before we started numbering up, sit told us not to talk and if anyone does, the whole class will go back to the classroom. As usual, we couldn't keep quiet and someone started talking and giggling at the other end of the line and so sir told us to go back to class and he marched back to the class, but no one followed immediately, some went afterwards.

When the bell rang, sir came back and asked us to line up to go back  and said that he is going to tell us a good news,
In sheer tone of sarcasm!:(
He said that our section is disqualified from the coming inter-section basketball tournament! I don't play so it didn't bother me much, but still it was a matter of shame!
Then, during the last period I saw some students swarmed up on a desk, I went up and saw the sheet in which names for students participating in basketball tournament were being written, and.....
Our class's students were mentioned!:D

My History lesson

Today in History class we studied about the origin of "Humanities" it's etymology and its importance.
It basically originated in Italy and found its way to the rest of the Europe..
The medieval years in Europe are called the dark ages. As the medieval period came to an end, people's mindset began to change, the unlimited power of the church was restricted. People began to think about the betterment of their lives in the present rather than afterlife.

Artists were inspired studying works of the past and they wanted to carry on the heritage by creating life like sculptures such as The Pieta by Michelangelo. The Sistine chapel is also an architecture of this period.
The Protestant reformation is a happening of these years, when Martin Luther King along with the help of newly invented printing press, discarded the rituals of Catholic Church he considered uneccesary.
I guess that's quite a lot of history for today.

My Dilemma

This post is about how studies can literally ruin your present in hope of the betterment your future...

So, just a few minutes ago I was sitting at the back in car, while my sister got out to fetch some stuff from a shop. Mamma was sitting at the wheel, I'd bought my writing notebook with me, as many ideas were popping up in my mind and I couldn't afford to lose them..!
I got a brilliant idea for my story and wrote it down.
As per my habit, I wanted to share my joy and I said "mamma I've got a wonderful idea for my story, and it's..", mamma said " it's not the time to write stories and poems, it's time to study hard! Once you get admission in a good college, write whatever you feel like. If you continue like this, please don't feel offended but you won't be able to do anything but write..!" I am really sure of my ambition, it's to be an Indian Foreign Service (IFS) officer, it's super tough to become that!
Mamma always encouraged me to write and praised my writings!! She said that I should write when I grow tired of studying ,
It's as much tough to write as to study, you have to think a lot, isn't it??

My choice of college was certain but I'm considering other choices too now..
Any advices??

A break from School! (;

Hey..

I didn't go  to school  today..Yippee! I hate going to school now, but once I reach it's fine, but I have to make a lot of effort to convince myself to go to school... After 2nd class I start to feel hungry..

school starts 7 and recess's bell rings on 11 not fair!!! How can anyone expect us to eat so much that we don't feel hungry till 4 hours??!!

Well, I'm glad I took an off today.. Today was special assembly means students have to remain standing for about 1, 1and a half hour...no matter the sun! Some might faint I think, I can only guess as I didn't go..

Today was the deadline for  story submission for story writing competition in our school, the winning story will be edited by Ruskin Bond a famous Anglo-Indian writer!! Though, my uncle knows him and I met him too.. winning the competition would be highly prestigious.. Lets hope for the best..

As I wasn't going I asked my friend Uttkarsh in short Utt (pronounced as U-T-T) to collect the pen drive from me before going to school and to submit it to my class teacher..Dubey Sir on my behalf.

"That's nice of him, right?"

Got to go now I have to study Geography for my exam on 28th of this month..

The Introduction..!

Hey guys,
So, this is a blog about my new school, I joined on 25 June 2013. It's been time since I joined but still it's new to me..and it'll be till I pass out in March 2015.
